Event Details

Cornerstone Park will be the site for Henderson’s 2nd Annual Field of Honor® display composed of 1,000 U.S. flags posted in a solemn formation overlooking Railroad Lake. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Green Valley, this beautiful panorama of the Stars and Stripes will fly as a tribute to our veterans and military members currently serving at home and around the world.

There is a story of service and sacrifice surrounding each posted flag to remind the mature and to teach the youth that our freedoms are made possible by the heroism and bravery of these special people.

The panorama of red, white and blue is hard to adequately describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten. There will be no charge to visit the Field of Honor® display, and all are invited to walk with us through the ordered rows of flags. This is an event not to be missed.

The Henderson Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers.
