HAYWARD, WI | Healing Field | 2012

September 20, 2012

The Boys & Girls Club of Lac Courte Oreilles will host the Hayward, Wisconsin – Lac Courte Oreilles Healing Field flag display this summer with a massive display of U.S. Flags and Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Flags at the corner of Highways B & K. The three-by-five foot flags posted in ordered lines on eight-foot white poles will be an awe-inspiring honorary display to pay tribute to the strength of our community while we continue to find common ground.
Please join us and visit this stirring memorial. This is the perfect opportunity for us to come together as a community.

If you are interested in being part of our Organizing Committee to assist with various sub-committees of Fundraising, Public Relations, Programming for Closing Ceremonies and other important planning and strategizing, please email Kim Lambert at truancyprevention@gmail.com.

You’ll find I am sponsoring a flag for my son Fallen Soldier SSG Patrick Lee Lybert US Army KIA 21 June 2006 Afghanistan.

It is difficult to participate in all of these – financially impossible BUT this one I am because it’s your Boys and Girls Club and my son mentored at risk youth when he was in college and after – he then carried that on into the military with young soldiers.

I am wondering – how long is your display going to be up? It goes up on a Thursday ( a work day) and I cannot take off work……Is it up for an amount of time and how long? Thank you for responding!
