EAGLE, ID | Field of Honor | 2012

May 19 – May 29, 2012; The Flags will fly until June 3. People can pick up their flags from 1-5 pm on Sunday, June 3. We will be continuing to sell flags through June 3.

On May 18th volunteers with gather to post 600 hundred United States flags for Eagle’s 6th Annual Field of Honor which will again be hosted by the City of Eagle. This sea of red, white and blue waving in the breeze will return as a tribute dedicated to our military and veterans.

Please join us as we walk amid the ordered rows of Old Glory where each full-sized flag waves atop an eight foot white staff in a stirring formation. Standing amid the flags, we remember and reflect in a salute of the living to those who serve, defend and sacrifice to preserve our nation and way of life.

Is it possible to still purchase a flag in honor of a veteran for this years display…I would like to purchase one in honor of my father…for his Father’s Day gift.
please call me if I can still get one.
I know he would really enjoy this and then as he flies the flag every day anyway..it would continue to fly at his home.
Thank you very much…it is kinda hard to find a gift with this much meaning for an 82 yr old GREAT DAD who doesn’t ask for anything!
