Although separate from the mainland by waters of the Atlantic Ocean, United States is part of the U.S. Virgin Islands’ name, and pride on the nation and its flag will be evident as the American Legion’s Post 90 host the first Field of Honor® flag display on St. Thomas. One hundred 3’ X 5’ U.S. flags will fly atop 7 ½ foot white poles on streets and walkways surrounding #18 Subbase during the period of November 9th trough Veterans Day on November 11th. The posted flags will honor our veterans, our military and first responders in an inspiring celebration of freedom. American Legion Post 90 invites area residents to join with them in this tribute to the men and women who defend our freedom and come to our aid in times of need and tragedy. Flags may be sponsored for $40 to support this memorable display of the Stars and Stripes, and proceeds will benefit the charitable programs of Post 90’s American Legion Auxiliary |
PLEASE NOTE: All sponsored flags will be shipped directly to host committee. Disregard standardized message on receipt, “order shipped”. Flags available for pickup after the event.
