May 28 - May 31 at the Portage Community Schools Administration (6240
US Hwy. 6 over 500 3x5' flags will be displayed on 8 foot poles in
perfect rows in honor of our US veterans. Visitors are welcome to visit
this beautiful display of patriotism and enjoy the Healing affected of
this wonder patriotic display. |

Volunteers and sponsors are needed to help the Portage Exchange club plan and organize this unforgettable community project. Assembly and placement of the flags are scheduled for Friday May 28th at 3:30 pm. For more information contact Bradley Clapp at (219) 787-4234.
Individuals
and business can sponsor a flag for $25 each and pick up their flag on
May 31, 2004 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the end of the event. Proceeds
will benifit the Portage.
