The Mitchell Exchange Club and its Community Partners will host a Healing Field Memorial Event from April 22- 24, 2005.
Imagine a sea of red white and blue. Hundreds
of American flags will stand eight foot tall in perfect rows and
columns. The visual effect will be one of infinity. The sacrifice
and memory becomes real and tangible when you see this breathtaking
display in honor of children that have lost their lives to the
hands of child abuse. This breathtaking display will be free to the public. Bring a camera and your family. Join us as we honor, remember, and heal.
The
event will be open from April 22 thru Apri 24 at 4:00 pm when the flags
will be taken down and given to those who have sponsored the individual
flags to continue the contribute in their own homes. Assembly of the
field will be announced in the upcoming weeks. Any
volunteers from the community are invited to contact Dave Jorgenson at (605) 996-8487.

This
event is hosted by the Mitchell Exchange Club and the flags
need your sponsorship. For $20.00 you can sponsor a flag and after the
event you can take your flag home to continue the tribute and
honor to the great children of our nation.
Each
3'x5' Healing Field flag includes the eight foot pole with
gold ball and the rebar to post it in the lawn of your home or
