1776 Flags of Freedom
This Healing Field is an educational model ideal for schools, school districts, scouts and military recruitment. 1776 US flags are displayed with milestone signage throughout the display depicting key facts and dates in history. The signing of the Declaration of Independence, Martin Luther King’s speech and many more important historic facts posted among the flags will lead student and visitors on a “March Through America’s Freedom” as they stamp a guide card with each icon from a milestone. Upon completion students receive a token or souvenir from the Field to take with them. The event is funded by local and national businesses with a philanthropic purpose for education and the flags can be pre sold to raise money for educational needs in the local schools.
