St. Petersburg will be the host city to a 2007 Healing Field of 1400 flags.  These 3x5' U.S. flags will stand 8 foot tall in perfect rows and columns across a field of green.  This living memorial will fly as a patriotic tribute to the lives of our children lost due to child abuse. 

The Healing Field display will be located at Straub Park. A breathtaking display of patriotism and unity, this community project is free to all who wish to participate and heal together from the heartache of child abuse. Everyone is invited to participate in this community event from April 20-22, 2007.  Bring a camera and your family.  Learn about Child Abuse Prevention, Help us create awareness, and change America. 

The Proceeds from this  flag memorial will benefit:

 

 

 a Programs to prevent Child Abuse in Florida.
