Pompton Plains, NJ ~ Field of Honor® 2014

May 20-27 2014 — Honoring all Active Duty and Veterans

During the days surrounding Memorial Day, Cedar Crest Village will host a Field of Honor® flag display for the Pompton Plains Community.  Honoring our military and veterans, at least one hundred United States full-size flags will fly in areas of the Cedar Crest community in an inspiring presentation that reminds us of the men and women who  through their dedication have sacrificed so much to defend our freedom and way of life.  The residents and management of Cedar Crest Village invite the residents of Pequannock Township and all of Morris County to visit this impressive display of the Stars and Stripes as part of the Memorial Day observance.
Flags may be ordered in dedication of individuals now serving in the military and the veterans who have gone before them.  Proceeds from the sales of these flags will benefit the Cedar Crest Resident Care Fund and Emmaus for Veterans.  The Resident Care Fund is a community-driven philanthropy which enables a resident to continue living with the comforts and supports provided at Cedar Crest even in the event of financial hardship.  Emmaus for Veterans is a grassroots organization in Riverdale, NJ that assists homeless veterans in providing them with job training and support with reintegrating into society.  To learn more about Emmaus for Veterans, please visit www.emmausforvets.org.
