Muncie, IN ~ Field of Honor® 2013

September 4-11, 2013

From the 4th through the 11th of September the Muncie Exchange Club will host Muncie’s first Field of Honor flag display. The Healing Field® and Field of Honor® flag display programs began on the first anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks as a way to depict the immensity of loss we suffered, not in depressing images of broken concrete and twisted steel, but through an uplifting posting of three thousand flags—one for each victim lost that day. The concept spread to communities around the country and expanded to embrace other causes.Muncie’s Exchange Club has chosen to present a Field of Honor® event for Patriot Day to honor the men and women who have or are serving in the military and to remember those that have given the ultimate sacrifice. Exchange members and volunteers will post hundreds of U.S. flags on the front lawns of the Minnetrista Cultural Center which is located at 1200 N Minnetrista Parkway. Flags can be sponsored to honor our service men and women, a personal hero or anyone you would like to remember during this patriotic display.
Please join with the Muncie Exchange Club by sponsoring flags, volunteering to help and especially by visiting this impressive display of our national flag. Walk with us through the sea of red, white and blue in an event that will draw the Muncie community together in a memorable experience.

PLEASE NOTE: All sponsored flags will be shipped directly to host committee.
