The Merced Sunrise Rotary Club continues the tradition as they host the Merced Field of Honor® display where hundreds of U.S. flag will fly in ordered rows and columns honoring our military, veterans and first responders. The 5th Annual Field of Honor® flag display will again be posted on the lawns at Merced Community College also in tribute to education, and as in years past this inspiring panorama of flags promises to be spectacular. Healing Fields of HonorThe Merced Sunrise Rotary Club continues the tradition as they host the Merced Field of Honor® display where hundreds of U.S. flag will fly in ordered rows and columns honoring our military, veterans and first responders. The 5th Annual Field of Honor® flag display will again be posted on the lawns at Merced Community College also in tribute to education, and as in years past this inspiring panorama of flags promises to be spectacular.

The Merced Field of Honor is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and many dedicated volunteers.  Please support the Merced Sunrise Rotary Club and Merced College by sponsoring flags, volunteering to help and especially by visiting this impressive display of our national flag. Walk with us through the sea of red, white and blue in an event that will draw the Merced community together in a memorable experience.

The Field of Honor will be open from 1 to 6 p.m.through Sunday at the Merced College field at Yosemite and M Street. Closing ceremony on the field is set for 4 p.m. Saturday. For more information, visit mercedfieldofhonor.org.

The Field of Honor will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. today through Sunday, Nov. 12 at the Merced College field at Yosemite and M Street. The public is invited to honor active-duty and military veterans and first responders by viewing, flying previously flown flags and purchasing new flags to honor loved ones.
