During this Memorial Day weekend, six hundred United States flags will stand posted on the grassy field in front of St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church as the Knights of Columbus present Ijamsville’s 3rd Annual Field of Honor® event Individual flags will honor our active duty military as well as those who have sacrificed their lives to defend our freedoms. Flags will also honor the first responders who serve our communities. Flags may be sponsored for $40, and the sponsors will retain the flags at the close of the event to be displayed in Ijamsville and surrounding communities as continuing mementos of service. Read More…

Field of FlagsHealing Fields of HonorThe panorama of red, white and blue is hard to adequately describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten. The Ijamsville Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
There is no charge to visit the Ijamsville of Honor® display, and all are invited to walk with us through the ordered rows of flags. This is an event not to be missed.
