| St. Mary Our Mother School will be the host to a 2011 Healing Field® 9/11 flag memorial where you will behold a beautiful display of thousands of large U.S. flags. |
| These 3′X5′ flags will stand 8′ tall in perfect rows. This living display of heroism will fly as a temporary patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans, and will commemorate the 10 year anniversary of all those who died September 11, 2001. |
| Please join us and walk this awe inspiring display of flags. This is the perfect opportunity for all of us to unite as a community to remember and honor those who died in this tragic event. |

- Scheduled to Speak: Tom Santulli, County Executive Tom O’Mara, State Senator Horseheads Mayor Don Zeigler Keith Caslin – Served several tours of duty as a result of 9/11 - Shannon Smith, Twin Tiers Idol to Sing Star Spangled Banner - Watking Glen Native Keith Caslin, US Marines Saturday, September 10th 10:30 – Instrumental Music by Ben Pawlak and Rachel Dowd
Saturday, September 10th 6:15pm – Free Community Concert by the Joe Cavallaro Dixieland Band
Sunday, September 11th at 10:30am – Mass with Bishop Matthew H. Clark
Sunday, September 11th at 12:15pm – Local Politicians, Dignitaries, Police & Fire personnel to read
names of all the victims of 9/11 beginning at 12:15pm, immediately followed by the Closing Ceremony |

Since that dreadful day in 2001, I have watched several young graduates from 4 area High school enlist in our Military. These young men and women deserve our respect and thanks for the freedom that we benefit from daily. God Bless them All!

We visited this spectacular field this weekend after dark. I cannot describe the feeling I had while walking and praying through the rows of flags. It was amazing. I purchased a flag to Honor Flight 93 Heroes.
Thank you for doing this. I wish it wouldn’t be taken down.
