Fayetteville, NC ~ 7th Annual Field of Honor® 2014

May 10 – June 23, 2014 — Honoring All Veterans

Adding to Fayetteville’s proud military tradition, the North Carolina Field of Honor® will rise for the seventh straight year on the parade grounds surrounding the Airborne and Special Operations Museum.  Hosted, as in years past, by the Fayetteville Downtown Alliance, this stirring formation of four hundred United States Flags will again unite the community in a patriotic tribute to our military.  Each flag represents an individual and tells a story.  Flags may be sponsored to honor members of our active duty military or veterans.  Sponsored flags are identified with a tag identifying the sponsor and honoree.

Hundreds of U.S. flags will be posted from May 10th through June 28th forming an inspiring formation of red, white and blue.  The event is the perfect opportunity for all of us to unite as a community as we remember and honor our military heroes.  It is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten.  We invite all to visit Fayetteville’s 7th Annual North Carolina Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge.  Don’t miss it.

To sponsor a flag, please visit the Fayetteville Field of Honor® website at the link: http://www.ncfieldofhonor.com/about-ncfoh for more information.  Proceeds benefit the Airborne and Special Operations Museum Foundation.
