Healing Fields of HonorThis formation not only honors the Stars and Stripes, which is the great symbol of our shared values, hopes and aspirations, but recognizes the contributions of personal heroes who have added to our national flag’s meaning through their positive impact. Whether honoring a teacher, a minister, a grandparent or a friend, each flag represents an individual and tells a story. Sponsor a flag to fly to honor an individual who has touched your life. This is the perfect opportunity to recognize our heroes and to let the entire community know the impact that these heroes have had.

As visitors to Danville’s previous events will remember, a Field of Honor® display is an experience hard to describe, but not to be forgotten. We invite all to walk with us among the ordered rows of flags. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
