Healing Fields of Honor

For the second year, a hill in front of the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence Shelterhouse will provide a beautiful setting for a display of flags to raise awareness for the tragic suffering experienced by the victims of child neglect and abuse. Special blue ribbon flags will stand in a solemn formation to acknowledge and remember the innocent and helpless children that society has failed to protect. “These are America’s children, this is America’s responsibility.”

All are invited to visit and support this touching memorial. Please unite with the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence in the determination to save children from abuse. Those who cannot protect themselves look to us, and we cannot look away.

It was a very windy but rain free setting Thursday morning in Coldwater for the 2nd annual Healing Hill of Hope Healing Field, which honors children from Branch County who have suffered from abuse and or neglect.

On Thursday, June 29, children from Branch County who have suffered from abuse and or neglect will be honored. It will happen on the hill at the Naomi Davis Shelter House in Coldwater, as 202 American Flags and Child Abuse Flags will stand 8 feet tall in perfect formation.
