Elma, WA 2013 — Field of Honor®

July 3-7, 2013

Murrieta Healingfield

The Rolling Thunder Chapter 1 of Elma Washington will host the Field of Honor® July 3-7, 2013. Visitors and volunteers from the surrounding communities will experience an amazing display of patriotism including hundreds of large U.S. flags atop 8ft poles in perfect rows and columns on a field of green. This living display of heroism will fly as a temporary patriotic tribute, honoring those that served and sacrificed during the Vietnam War, as well as all those that are serving our country on Active Duty and Veterans who serve our nation to preserve our security and freedom.

I think this is fantastic. This is a perfect location to display the wall and the chance to have a flag present – a major route going to the beach, access for a lot of travelers to see it and to honor our United States Military. Blessings to all.

Just wanted to say “Thank You” to the organizers for providing patriots an opportunity to acknowledge the extraordinary service to country of both veterans and current service members. This particular 4th of July holiday period is of critical importance as my son, LT Jack Clegg, and his platoon go through their final preparation prior to deploying to Southwest Asia very soon. May they all return HOME Safely! jdc
