Cody, WY ~ Field of Honor® 2014

June 8 – 15, 2014

Our National Flag is the symbol of our shared goals and aspirations, and in Cody the U.S. flags displayed at the Park County Complex are tangible evidence of the community’s shared goal to create the Cody Heritage Museum within the walls of the historic DeMaris Building.  It is especially fitting that volunteers will post hundreds of U.S. flags for Cody’s 3rd Annual Field of Honor® display scheduled during the days surrounding Flag Day, as the Park County Historical Society continues their effort to restore the DeMaris Building as the future home of the Cody Heritage Museum.   Event sponsors and area residents have joined together with organizers in fulfilling the shared aspiration to preserve Cody’s rich historical heritage.  When completed, the museum will enable residents and visitors to learn firsthand about Cody’s fascinating past and its colorful pioneers.

A fundraiser for Cody Heritage Museum & the Historic DeMaris Building

Join with sponsors and volunteers in supporting Cody’s Field of Honor® by purchasing flags that will be flown as part of this inspiring display of the Stars and Stripes. Those who have visited one of Cody’s past Field of Honor® events know what to expect and they will not be disappointed.  First time visitors will experience an inspirational view with hundreds of U.S. flags flying in the breeze.  This is an event that must be seen to be fully appreciated.  Everyone is invited to visit the Cody Field of Honor® display and walk amid the rows of flags flying in solemn tribute to those men and women who serve and protect us at home and around the world.
